Terms

These terms cover this website and the free offers on it. Every paid website is quoted in writing first, and that quote together with these terms is the agreement for the job. Dawn Patrol Studio is run by Ermes Triscornia, a sole trader in Perth, Western Australia (ABN 39 314 301 843).

Free site score and homepage preview

• Both are free, with no obligation to buy. We send at most 5 scores a week. Previews are designed in our build weeks (one week in every three); when you ask for one, we tell you its date.
• A score is a checklist based on our research and what we can see on your site on the day. It isn't a promise of calls or rankings.
• A preview is the top of your homepage (heading, reviews, offer, buttons), designed from the logo and photos you send us. You may keep the link. The design stays ours unless you buy a website.

Your quote

• Every quote states the plan, the exact pages, your build week and your launch date.
• Starter: 5 pages. Growth: up to 18 pages in total (the core pages plus one page per service and suburb), Google Business Profile setup, call tracking and the 90-day enquiry guarantee.
• You get two rounds of changes on each page. More rounds, or pages beyond the quote, are quoted separately before we do them.
• Please reply to each approval request within 5 business days. If we're waiting on you (photos, details, approvals), your launch date moves by the same time, and we'll confirm the new date in writing.

Prices and payment

• Prices are in Australian dollars and are the total you pay.
• Nothing is payable until you accept a fixed quote. Then 50% is due to start the build and 50% at launch, or 3 equal monthly payments if agreed in your quote. If the site is ready and we're waiting on your final approval, the second payment is due 14 days after we tell you it's ready.
• The price only changes if you ask for more than the quote covers, and only after you agree to the new price.
• Founding price (Growth for A$2,900) applies to the first 3 clients only, in return for a 15-minute feedback call and permission to publish your real before-and-after numbers, with a note that you received a founding price. It never depends on you leaving a review.
• If you cancel after paying the first 50%, we keep the part that covers work already done and refund the rest.

Our guarantees

• See it before you pay: if you don't like your preview, you owe nothing.
• On time: if we miss the launch date in your quote (as moved for any wait on your side), the first 12 months of the care plan are free.
• 90-day enquiry guarantee (Growth): before we start, you count your new-customer calls and enquiries for the previous 90 days from your phone and inbox, and we write the number in your quote. After launch, you count the next 90 days the same way; call tracking and form enquiries help show where they came from. If the second number isn't higher, we do up to 3 months of our local SEO work free (the same work as the A$690/month plan). It needs the call tracking number to stay on your site and Google profile for the 90 days.
• We never promise a position on Google.

Ownership and handover

Once a website is paid for, you own its domain, design, words and code. The domain is registered in your name and renews with your registrar. You give us permission to use your logo and photos to build your site. If you leave, or if we ever stop trading, we hand over your files and access within 10 business days of you asking.

Care plan and local SEO

Both are monthly and optional, and either side can cancel with 30 days' notice. The care plan includes hosting, backups, security updates, your call tracking number on Growth, and up to an hour of edits a month; unused time doesn't roll over. If you cancel care, we move your site to hosting you choose, and you can keep or drop the tracking number.

Your rights under the law

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including the guarantees that services are provided with due care and skill.
